Embassy legalisation is the process of presenting a document to an Embassy for authentication and is a required step for many countries prior to a document being recognised for use in the country in which the Embassy represents. Prior to a document being lodged for Embassy legalisation, it may also need to be Notarised, certified by the Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce or legalised by the Department of Foreign Affairs - DFA.
